Spekboom is an evergreen succulent shrub or small tree with small round succulent leaves and red stems and produces small star-shaped pink flowers from late winter to spring. Its effective in carbon sequestration, in semi-arid landscapes and thicket vegetation for restoration purposes. Porkbush is a rich source of nectar for many insects, which in-turn attracts insectivorous birds.
A minimum spacing of 0.15m when planting is recommended best results.
